No early presents at Villa Park
It was a full panel as the lads went over the latest game at Villa Park. With players absent due to AFCON and suspensions, injuries to Bruno Fernandes, Mason Mount and Kobee Mainoo have deepened the sense of gloom around the club at the moment.
Despite the absenses, United gave as good as they got against a side who have been on a terrific recent run. It was lapses on our side that allowed Morgan Rogers to score the two goals that ultimately proved the difference. Matheus Cunha did get a leveller and should probably have scored a second one.
It is more frustration to all of us United fans to come away with nothing when we had the chance to get something. When you add to poor results against West Ham, Bournemouth and Everton, it makes it even worse. Brian lets rip with his thoughts on the matter.
The lads also look towards upcoming games against Newcastle, Wolves and Leeds.
