A very different mood from Brian Murphy and John Fitzgibbon compared to the episode post Brentford! The two lads bask in the glory of a first win at Anfield since 2016 and one that finally sees us win two games in a row.
They go over the factors that has led to the reigning champions losing four games in a row with that result and the mistakes they have made in terms of recruitment and set up. Arnie Slott did not cover himself with grace with some comments and they both don’t hold back on him.
Conversely, how impressed they have been with the attitude and desire of players such as Cunha, Mbeumo, Amad and others. Are we starting to see the beginning of a squad with attitude and passion?
Finally they look towards the home game with Brighton on Saturday, possible departures in January, and the power of positivity.
