A look ahead with the lads
Dale and John were joined on the show by Philip Brown of the Beyond the Pitch podcast. The Belfast-born red is is well-known broadcaster and advocate of positive mental health. All three were looking towards the forthcoming season for Utd.
The big news circulated around the recent signing of Carlos Baleba from Brighton. The 22-year became the third midfielder signed in the transfer window. All three are optimistic despite online naysayers. We will have to wait a few weeks due a pre-season knock though.
From one new face, to a familiar face in the club. Marcus Rashford has returned to the club after his loan spell at Barcelona. They chose not to take up the option of a permanent deal. Both club and player have agreed for now to work together. The lads debate on who well he will be integrated into the squad.
The first game of the season was looming against newly promoted Hull City. All three were expecting United to start with the win. Ahem. Less said the better….
We are of course back at the big table. The Champions League draw was scheduled to be made and our opponents to be announced. Dale was getting his flights booked for Madrid already. The others are less sure, but excited to see how we get on.
Finally, Phil gave an insight into how he got his start and the joy he gets from it. His exclusive with Roy Keane is certainly a story!
Check out his work here and here. All the very best with his journey.
