Premier League schedule announced this morning
Manchester United have found out the full list of fixtures ahead of the start of the 2026-27 Premier League campaign. Fans can now start planning out their calendars for the season ahead. They can also get excited for the heavy weight fixtures we will be facing in Michael Carrick’s first full season in charge.
The first set has us taking on play-off winners, Hull City, at The MKM Stadium on 22nd of August. Our first home game is against promoted Ipswich Town a week later. The Manchester Derby is at home in September which will be on paper the toughest of the opening set of games.
The trip to Anfield looms large for many as we head towards Christmas. It is the first game back after the first of two international breaks in the season. We will be off for three weeks for each.
Fans of the traditional Boxing Day fixtures will be glad to see us playing at home that afternoon to Nottingham Forest. This is a week after a trip to the current league champions. January looks to be a tricky month with games against Brighton, Newcastle, Aston Villa and the return against Liverpool.
The Easter period sees no action due to an international break. A Manchester derby should be a fascinating way to sign off before it.
The run-in sees intriguing games away to Coventry and Bournemouth along with the hot blooded encounter with Leeds. Reds fans will be hoping to gain revenge for a defeat last season. Our final game is at home to Fulham on Sunday 30th of May. We will all be hoping to see silverware being lifted by Bruno Fernandes that afternoon.
The fixtures are likely to be rescheduled due to European and domestic cup competitions, along with TV switches.
