A look across the leagues for performances of the on-loan reds
As we are not playing this weekend due to being knocked out of the FA Cup by Brighton, the only reds in action are those that are on loan. Here is an update on their form over the past few days.
Europe
Here is where some of the higher profile stars that are seeking paths elsewhere.
Marcus Rashford are playing Girona away on Monday at 20:00.
Rasmus Hojlund played the full 90 minutes for Napoli on Sunday. They were taking on Roma at home. He did not manage to replicate his double from the weekend before though. The Danish striker had two attempts, both of which were off target. The home side failed to gain significant ground on the leaders, Inter Milan, and were fortunate to come away with a 2-2 draw.
It was a tough afternoon for Andre Onana on Saturday. His Trapzonspor side went down 3-2 to second placed Fenerbahce. His performance was under scrutiny given the away side managed to score three times from their only shots on target.
Both Enzo Kana-Biyik and Sekou Kone came off the bench for Lausanne Sport on Thursday. The latter was making his debut for his new side. It was took late for either youngster to make an impact on the game though. Thun were 3-1 up at the time and went on to win 5-1. Kana-Biyik got 18 minutes and Kone just 10. Neither of them came off the bench on Sunday as Lausanne conceded a 91st minute equaliser to draw 3-3 with Servette.
Premier League
Jadon Sancho only came off the bench after 78 minutes with the home side 2-1 down to Newcastle. He had one effort which was off target and failed to create a chance in that time.

SPL
Jacob Devaney had a tough afternoon for St. Mirren. His side went down 2-0 to Hibernians at Easter Road on Saturday. He was replaced at half-time with his side one nil down at the time. He did manage a shot in his time on the pitch and his passing was off key. He was not the only player for the 10th placed side to underperform but he will be disappointed given his high standards.
Ethan Williams was again missing as Falkirk went down to Dundee United. They were twice ahead before the visitors won it in the last 10 minutes. He has been left out of the matchday squad for the last four games.
EFL
Harry Amass remains out injured at Norwich City. It has not been confirmed if he is to come back to Old Trafford for rehabilitation.
Toby Collyer was left out of the matchday squad for Hull City’s FA Cup tie with Chelsea. The London side came away with a 4-0 win to progress to the fifth round. He will be hoping to return to the first team when they resume their promotion bid.
Ethan Wheatley came off the bench for for his second game in a row for Bradford City on Saturday. It was a better experience as his side beat Peterborough 2-0. He almost got on the goal scoring action himself near the end. Alex Bass pulled off a smart save to deny him though.

Gabriele Biancheri and Dan Gore’s Rotherham are not playing until Tuesday due to FA Cup action.
James Scanlon did not come off the bench for Swindon on Saturday. The promotion chasers were surprised as they lost 3-1 to Shewsbury Town. The home side provided themselves with a huge boost in their fight against relegation.
Ethan Ennis played almost the full 90 minutes for Fleetwood against Oldham Athletic. He was unlucky to have not scored at least once for the League Two side. He was denied by Mat Hudson with two smart saves from the young attacker. Both sides remain in midtable but still looking over their shoulder.
The summer will tell a lot of difference for some of these players. Those returning will have to impress whoever comes in.
