It has been a succesfull season overall for him personally even if his form was indifferent at time. His future is up in the air as Barcelona have not declared if they want to sign him at the required asking price.
Rasmus Hojlund’s Napoli finished in second behind Inter Milan as they beat Udinese on the final day. Hojlund scored the only goal of the game for his 12th league goal of the season. He will be completing his permanent move in the coming weeks.

Jadon Sancho again started on the bench in Villa’s win in the Europa League Final. He only featured for the final nine minutes of the game. It keeps up his remarkable record of playing in three different European finals three years in a row for three different clubs. And yet his future remains uncertain. He will be out of contract at United come June. He did not even feature in the squad as Aston Villa sealed their place in fourth with a win at Manchester City on the final day.
SPL
Jacob Devaney saw his St. Mirren side draw the first-leg away to Patrick Thistle in the relegation play-off. Their Premier Division place is still yet to be decided. He helped create one chance, a decent passing percentage and had a 100% tackling record. The return leg at home finished 1-0 in their favour. They will be playing at the top level once more next season. He will be returning to Old Trafford to start preparing for the pre-season. It may be that he starts to see first team action next season due to extra games or another loan move. He has done his job during this campaign.

EFL
Toby Collyer was again missing from the matchday squad as Hull City set out at Wembley for the play-off final. The midfielder had returned to Old Trafford to get ready for the pre-season schedule. This happened when he was unable to get fit to play in the game. The Yorkshire club scored in the final minute to beat Middlesbrough. They will now return to the Premier League for the first time since the 2016/17 season. Collyer will be hoping to be part of Michael Carrick’s plans for next season.
