Midfielder to depart on loan
Manchester United have confirmed that Jack Moorhouse has joined Scottish Premier League club Dundee.
He has gone on a season long loan with the Dens Park side.
The 19-year-old midfielder came through the academy where he impressed his coaches with his work rate and ball carrying. He featured for the under-18’s at the age of 15, before a serious injury put him out for a year. When he returned, he started with the under-21’s in Premier League 2.
He went out on loan to Leyton Orient last season, making 20 appearances in League One. He also received his first call-up to Republic of Ireland under-21’s.
There were a number of clubs competing for his signature, but the SPL club won out. Jacob Devaney’s time in the SPL last season was a major part in his decision.
Meanwhile, Louis Jackson has joined St. Mirren on a permanent deal.
The Scottish underage international was a key member of the side who won the 2022 FA Youth Cup. He had also appeared in matchday squads under Erik Ten Hag. This included a place on the bench for the 2024 Semi-Final.
He has signed a three year deal with the Buddies.
